Introduction
You only get one future. Nobody else can live it for you. Nobody else can build it for you. The decisions you make right now — in your teens — will decide whether your future is full of opportunities, or full of regrets.
This workshop is about choosing to take control of your life and making “shark moves” that lead you forward.
Step 1: Watch the Videos
1.“My Future” – (Video 1)
Message: Your future is in your hands. God gave you control. The decisions you make today shape tomorrow.
2.“Shark or Fish” – (Video 2)
Message: Nothing comes easy. You have to work for it. You can either be a shark — strong, in control, moving forward — or a fish, just floating and getting eaten.
Step 2: Think It Through (Reflection Questions)
•After hearing both videos, do you believe you’re really in control of your future? Why or why not?
•What “fish moves” have you been making (things that keep you stuck, make you weak, or waste time)?
•What “shark moves” do you want to start making (things that build strength, discipline, and a better future)?
Write your answers in your notebook, phone notes, or directly on MTTHub (if we set up the reflection box).
Step 3: Shark vs. Fish Challenge (Activity)
Make two lists:
1.Fish Moves – things that make life harder later.
•Skipping school or practice
•Giving up when it’s hard
•Hanging with people who don’t care about their future
•Blaming others instead of working harder
2.Shark Moves – things that build a stronger future.
•Finishing homework before video games
•Getting to practice early and putting in extra work
•Controlling your emotions instead of fighting
•Saving money instead of wasting it
After making your list, circle one fish move you’re leaving behind this week and one shark move you’re committing to this week.
Step 4: Connect It to Real Life
Think back to what Killer Mike said in the last workshop:
•Don’t rush into marriage or kids before you’re ready.
•Build with your family, buy property, and put yourself in position first.
Now ask yourself:
•If I keep making fish moves, how will that mess up my future?
•If I start making shark moves, how can that set me up to build the kind of life Killer Mike was talking about?
Step 5: Share & Commit
Post in the MTTHub discussion board:
•One fish move you’re leaving behind.
•One shark move you’re committing to.
This is your accountability. Sharks don’t just talk — they move.
Closing Thought
Your future is yours. If you don’t take it seriously, someone else will control it for you. You’re either going to be the shark or the fish. Which one are you choosing today?

1.) A fish move I will stop doing is procrastinating.
2.) A shark move I will start is saving money and becoming more dedicated to doing things.
